Safe Environment

We can all be part of the solution--together we can prevent child abuse.

Did you know that the Catholic Church is one of the largest child serving organizations in the United States.  That is why it is important that all priests, deacons, employees and volunteers are required to take the Safe Environment Training.  In the Diocese of Phoenix, we must all complete Called to Protect for Ministries as a foundation course for Safe Environment.

Called to Protect for Ministries is a 2 ½ hour program which will teach steps that can be taken to prevent child sexual abuse.  As a component of the training everyone is required to complete a Volunteer Application and Code of Ethics.  This training is the mandatory first class for all new employees and volunteers.

Renewal classes are offered for all subsequent years.  Renewal training is offered through in-class sessions or through computer “on-line” training.

Go to www.safeenvironmenttraining.org to learn more about the Diocese of Phoenix Safe Environment Training, to register for a training class here at All Saints or to complete the on-line renewal training or to find a training session at a nearby parish.

The Safe Environment Coordinator for All Saints Catholic Church is Patty Johnson.  If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact her at 480-985-7655 or at pjohnson@asccm.org

God has called us to protect.  We invite you to help protect all children by increasing knowledge and awareness.
