Funeral Arrangements

On behalf of All Saints, please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.

As followers of Jesus, we find meaning and hope in His death and resurrection.  By the waters of Baptism we share in the death of Jesus and our death finds hope in the promise of sharing in the Lord’s resurrection.

We invite you to take an active part in preparing the funeral rituals which will be used to celebrate the life of the deceased.

At the time of death

The time of death, whether sudden or expected, is a very confusing time for the family.  Please follow these steps to help maintain a smooth transition for your family.

Please contact the mortuary of your choice.  The funeral director at the mortuary will work very closely with All Saints to coordinate all aspects of the funeral liturgies.  If hospice or a hospital is involved, they may have other guidelines you need to follow.
Contact the parish office 480-985-7655 during regular office hours.  Generally, you will meet with the Bereavement Minister to provide information regarding the deceased, to choose readings for the service, music and other details for the funeral.

Funeral Pre-planning

The time before death, especially with an extended illness, can be painful.  In some cases, the dying family member takes comfort in planning as much as possible of the funeral arrangements. Our Bereavement Minister will be happy to meet with you to plan the needs of your funeral and to answer any questions you may have about mortuaries, cemeteries, cremation, etc.

Please contact the Bereavement Minister at 480-985-7655 to schedule a meeting.
